Quad Conic Tensile Fabric Structure - St Urbans School Leeds

Tensile Solutions provided specialist subcontract installation engineers to work under the direction of Fabric Architecture Ltd & Signature Structures Ltd site supervisors to install a 24m x 7m 'Quad Conic' tensile fabric structure in Leeds.

The installation was completed in three days with the aid of 35T crane and the single piece fabric canopy was installed using a specially fabricated spreader beam.

The quad tensile fabric conic formed part of the schools refurbishment and provides a multitude of functions including outdoor classroom, play area, parents waiting area, meet and greet etc.

Engineers for this project were supplied with CPCS telehandler, IPAF MEWP & CPCS Signaller, Slinger, Banksman qualifications.

Fabric Architecture Tensile Fabric Structure Maintenance

Tensile Solutions conducted maintenance on behalf of Fabric Architecture Ltd & Signature Structures Ltd on their Mistral & Sirocco tensile fabric structures. Located throughout the UK each structure was checked for defects and had its canopy re-tensioned.

'Triple Conic' Tensile Fabric Structure Installation at Tesco, Kingsbridge

Tensile Solutions provided specialist subcontract installation engineers to work under the direction of Fabric Architecture Ltd & Signature Structures Ltd site supervisors to install this 18x7m 'Triple Conic' tensile fabric structure in Kingsbridge. The installation was completed in three days with the aid of 35T crane and specially fabricated spreader beam. Access and installation was made more complicated due to the structure sitting on a raised area several metres above the car park and access level.

This development formed part of a new build Tesco store and grounds. The Triple Conic covers part of a walkway to the store and provides a focal point and shelter in all weathers for shoppers.

Engineers for this project were supplied with CPCS telehandler, IPAF MEWP & CPCS Signaler, Slinger, Banksman qualifications.
