Tensile Solutions were approached by Cancer Research for a stunning Spindrift to complement their show garden at Tatton Park Flower show 2013.

Expectations were high with previous RHS gold medal winners Mary Hoult and Peter Gregory at the helm of this years' show garden project. We're delighted to say that a gold medal was theirs once again with a Spindrift forming the focal point of the garden.

Semi Translucent Tensile PVC Canopy

Supplied, in hand polished stainless steel masts and a semi translucent tensile PVC canopy from Serge Ferrari, this Spindrift was attached to our temporary ground base anchor system allowing the site to be returned back to its original condition after the show. With no concrete, or groundworks involved, this system would be perfect for use in any home garden.

Here is a little more about the garden...

The purpose of Networks is to promote the ground breaking work of Cancer Research UK and the new More Tomorrows campaign. Currently under construction at the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC), is an exciting new building whose facade of intersecting straight lines has inspired the garden’s distinctive network layout. The dynamic new Cancer Research UK logo is also represented, its colours and curves threading symbolically through the garden. Sweet peas, lavender and chamomile provide fragrance within a soft framework of grasses and verbena. Although layered with inner meanings, the garden can be enjoyed simply as a calm, contemporary outdoor space.

The Spindrift is part of our growing product range and more information about it can be found here. Alternatively, please contact us.
